Asia World Model United Nations (AWMUN) XI to Be Held Again in Seoul, South Korea on July 24–28, 2025

The Asia World Model United Nations (AWMUN) XI will once again be held in Seoul, South Korea, from July 24 to 28, 2025. This international conference serves as a platform for young people from around the world to take on the role of diplomats in a United Nations (UN) simulation, discussing global issues and formulating concrete solutions.

What is AWMUN?

AWMUN is a Model United Nations (MUN) conference organized by the International Global Network (IGN), an organization focused on youth development. Through AWMUN, participants are encouraged to understand the complexity of global issues and develop essential skills such as diplomacy, negotiation, leadership, and public speaking.

AWMUN XI Seoul 2025: General Information

  • Date: July 24–28, 2025

  • Venue: Swiss Grand Hotel, Seoul, South Korea

  • Registration Fee: IDR 35,600,000 per participant (excluding airfare, visa, and companion accommodation)

  • Registration Deadline: April 10, 2025

  • Minimum Participants: 5 students per institution

Theme and Focus of Discussion

The theme of AWMUN XI is “Ensuring World Peace and Global Stability: Global Youth Action.” Participants will be divided into several main councils, such as UNICEF, UNESCO, and WHO, to discuss issues including:
